Short version: Cold Skies has no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no analytics or tracking. Your settings and an unfinished game against the computer are saved on your own device.

Who we are

Cold Skies is a free game made by Kinetic Horizons Network (KHN), played in a web browser at coldskies.kinetichorizonsnetwork.com. Contact: [email protected] or our Discord server.

What stays on your device

Your language, sound settings, chosen bloc, callsign and an unfinished game against the computer are saved in your browser's local storage. We cannot see them. Clearing the site data in your browser deletes them.

Online games

Online games connect the two players' devices directly (WebRTC). To find each other, devices use the free public PeerJS server and public STUN servers (Google and Cloudflare). As with any direct connection, your opponent's device and these servers can see your IP address while you are connected. We do not store it. Game codes are random and only work while the game is open. Your opponent sees the callsign you type, so please keep it friendly. There is no chat.

Other services the game loads

Cloudflare hosts the game and keeps standard technical logs for security.
Google Fonts provides the fonts.
unpkg / jsDelivr deliver the online-play library (PeerJS), only when you open online play.

These services receive your IP address when your device downloads files from them, as with any website.

No ads, no purchases, no analytics, no tracking across websites.
No accounts, no email addresses, no location.

Polityka prywatności

W skrócie: Cold Skies nie ma kont, plików cookie, reklam ani analityki czy śledzenia. Ustawienia i niedokończona gra z komputerem są zapisywane tylko na twoim urządzeniu.

Gra zapisuje w pamięci przeglądarki (local storage) język, ustawienia dźwięku, wybrany blok, kryptonim i niedokończoną grę z komputerem. Nie mamy do nich dostępu. Wyczyszczenie danych strony w przeglądarce je usuwa.

Gra online łączy urządzenia graczy bezpośrednio (WebRTC). Do odnalezienia się urządzenia używają publicznego serwera PeerJS i publicznych serwerów STUN (Google i Cloudflare), które, podobnie jak przeciwnik, widzą twój adres IP w trakcie połączenia. Nie przechowujemy go. Przeciwnik widzi wpisany przez ciebie kryptonim. Czatu nie ma.

Grę hostuje Cloudflare, czcionki dostarcza Google Fonts, a bibliotekę gry online (PeerJS) unpkg lub jsDelivr. Bez reklam, zakupów, analityki i kont. Kontakt: [email protected].
